The Spa TVR Festival Of Racing 2011The weekend of October 1st and 2nd is a date for you to make in your diaries right now. You may already be aware but the news is that TVR's are returning to Europe's premier race circuit at Spa Francorchamps. Dulford Automotive will be there for the whole weekend supporting Perry Waddams (Tuscan 77) Andy Race (Tuscan 89) and Dan Birch (Griffith 66) in their TVR campaign. As well as some very exciting racing all weekend including Dutch Super Cars, GT Cup, Lotus European Championships, Caterham European Championship. Our TVR racers will be running in The Spa Sports Car Race and will be joined by Mike Saunders in the Cerbera GT and Danny Winstanley in his new 4.5 Sagaris - Both guys having a busy weekend competing in both races. |

TRACK DAYS - After this weekend of excellent racing Dulford have managed to secure a limited number of slots on the track days on Monday the 3rd and Tuesday the 4th. Spa is the ultimate Track Day location and is a must for any enthusiast. The days will be open pit lane on both days allowing as much or as little time on track as you need. The full details are yet to be confirmed but we can now confirm the definite dates and prices. As the Dulford Team are there supporting the TVR racers we are able to offer full technical support and assistance for both days.

At the moment we already have a confirmed 50% take up on places so we really need definite commitments from you if you are not to miss out. We will be advising on travel options and accommodation along with recommended channel crossings with various cost options to suit your budget , so that where possible we can travel together and stay close together. We will need a deposit to secure your slot but places are limited so that we can offer the support that you are used to. To sum up, this trip is 2 days racing at Spa with plenty of TVR action, you can hang out with us in the pits and get involved in the action. Followed by 1 or 2 days on track at Spa with full technical support and assistance. A few nights away with plenty of banter. If you feel the need for more speed then there is also the option of popping over to the Nurburgring on one of the evenings but I think this may be the time for us to get some well earned R+R. This superb TVR Griffith has recently undergone a complete engine upgrade at Dulford Automotive. The power unit is much enhanced and features a custom exhaust system to allow the uprated unit to breathe more easily. Keep an eye out for this Griff, it really is a fine example. But don't blink or you'll miss it! |

This blisteringly quick car features an original specification GT40 race car Ford 302 V8 lump with 4 x IDA carbs. Race spec but fully road legal, this Ford GT40 will be taking no prisoners. |

Dulford Automotive are now offering a Griffith & Chimaera battery replacement service especially for those TVR passengers who like to stretch their legs... Quite simply by removing the battery from the near side footwell of Griffiths and Chimearas this allows about 8 inches more leg room for your passenger. A small gel race battery is then installed neatly in the boot on a specially made bracket.
